Either the timbre-matched ...

1) JBL N24AWII includes wall brackets for $97.33 +SH @ Amazon (or FREE Amazon PRIME SH)

... or ...

2) JBL N26AWII does not include wall brackets for Price: $111.52 +SH @ Amazon

... should work great.

NOTE & FYI: The JBL N24's is the only speaker w/4" woofer every bench-marked by Tom Nousaine @ S&V to have usable frequency below 90 Hz.

JBL NSP1 January 2001 Sound & Vision IN THE LABS:
N-24 front left/right... 89 Hz to 18.9 kHz ±2.7 dB
N-Center.................. 89 Hz to 20 kHz ±5.5 dB
N-24 surround.......... 89 Hz to 18.4 kHz ±3.2 dB

Re: question regarding jbl northridge n38

The sub does not have to be from JBL (there is no need to match it).

What is your budget for the sub and how big is your room?
