T2: Skynet Edition 2.0 only...?

Hi Bill,

I have been reading your site ever since it's inception. I have a quick question, if you would be so kind as to inquire with your sources. There have been some grumblings about Lionsgate's new T2 disc being coded such that the special features (those on the disc, not BDLive) such as featurettes and commentaries will only be accessible when played on a 2.0 machine. One person actually reported a disclaimer screen that displayed on his 1.1 machine that said as much: "This disc will play with animated menus, but the extra content is only accessible on a 2.0 machine." I have this disc sitting at home still in the envelope from Amazon, but if the new trend is to require people to log into a website to access the content they clearly paid for (again, not counting BDLive stuff, which I have no use for), I will return it as defective. I fully realize that is already being done with Digital Copy, but I have found that the DC discs at least make for good coasters when I am watching the main feature. Could you please confirm this (I love this movie, and based on the screenshots everyone is getting their panties in a bunch about, think it looks quite good). Thanx!
