regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) still thinks he's the best boss ever—despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary! Re: USHE Press Release: The Office: Season Five (DVD/Blu-ray)

What's with the 2.35:1 aspect ratio on the Blu-rays?

That must be a mistake as I can't think of any reason to do 2.35:1. Especially since the DVDs are 1.78:1.

^ I'm 99.9% sure that that's a typo in the press release.

I hope so.

The fact that the BD MSRP is only $10 above the DVD MSRP is encouraging and makes me hopeful that the BD will be reasonably priced. This, though, will confound my kids who have regularly borrowed all my other seasons of The Office (they don't have Blu-ray).

Three-hours-plus of deleted scenes! That's Dunder-tastic!

It's gonna be a long wait until September 8th.

And yet somehow I have blinked my eyes and release date is almost upon us!

This has turned into a highly anticipated release for our household.
