I have Sony DAV HDX275 purchased from USA.surround sound mode was working in USA but not in India. I have supplied 120V/50HZ input to the system using a stepdown converter. System is designed as per US specs 120V/60HZ. Does this make a difference if i use 50HZ power inputs instead of 60HZ? I am not sure if this is problem causing no surround sound(Dolby,dts)?
