3-D & Panasonic PT-AE3000U

Heyyy, I rented My Bloody Valentine from NetFlix on Blu-Ray and would like to watch it in 3-D on my PT-AE3000U. I picked up a pair of promotional SAW VI glasses @ Blockbuster and they don't appear to be doing the trick... or it could be that NetFlix sent me the regular version of the movie ("3D" is not printed on the disc or sleeve.) Regardless, if it's possible to do 3D on my projector, can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: 3-D & Panasonic PT-AE3000U

there should be a 2d / 3d options in the menu of the movie. You will need to select that first.

You will then need to figure out which type of 3D glasses you will need for MBV. different movies can have different types.

My short story: I purchased Journey to the Center of the Earth, and The Polar Express (both in 3D). I have 3 kids, and 1 spouse (so 5 people would be watching) so I opened both movies to get the glasses out (4 pairs per movie). About 10 minutes into the movie I realized my daughter was not able to see in 3d....(when she started to complain about a blurry image). PE and JTTCOTE use different colors to acheive the seperation, so their specific glasses are not interchangable.

If there isnt already, it would be great to have a 3D compatibility thread in the software area.

I checked the menu (I had thought pretty thoroughly) and did not see a 2D/3D option...

then a high probability that you did not receive the 3D edition of the disc.

Greetings

I thought your daughter's inability to see 3D with her glasses was attributed to ... lack of faith ... no imagination. :p
