Alright, I have a Sony STR-K900 AV reciever, with the 5 small speakers that comes in the set and the powered subwoofer. I also have 2 Olin Ross OR 703 tower speakers. Right now, the sound isn't as loud out of the tower speakers as I would like so I thought that getting an amp might help. I need a cheap one as I'm in college so any suggestion on which one to get and where to get it?

Re: Amp Suggestion
A couple things come to mind. first, without actually checking, my gut feeling is Olin Ross speakers are a "White Van" scam. I could be wrong. If they are, the best thing to do is dump them. Second, how loud a speaker plays is far more a function of the speaker than the amp powering it. Things like sensitivity and maximum output determine the lion's share of how loud a speaker is. So, more power will only have a minimal effect.
