Sync files between MacBook and iMac

Not that I've finally got a MacBook , what's the best way to sync files between the two? I subscribe to MobileMe which can keep iCal and Address Book etc in sync, but what about files in the home folder? iDisk is a bit slow for larger files. Something like DropBox?

Re: Sync files between MacBook and iMac

You want the files to be synchronized automatically? If not, then you can just use File Sharing.

Re: Sync files between MacBook and iMac

Filesharing would be good for a few files, but I'd like to sync certain folders automatically if possible.

Re: Sync files between MacBook and iMac

Dropbox is probably your best bet. 2GB of space for free....or if you want to go up to 50GB of space...it is either $9.99/month...or $99/year in one payment.

There is free quite advanced Mac syncing software - SyncMate. You can try it, you may like it's user-friendliness and find it's functionality helpful.
