Hey Guys
im getting ready to created a Home Theater P.C for the Living room, the rooms dimensions are 8 Feet by 10 feet. Right now my Rigs the Antec 1200 with the Zalman 9500 4 GBS of Memory, 2 150 GB Raptors and 1 250 GB HD with a 8800 640 MB VGA. I have the ASUS 650i Motherboard and a Kingwin Modular 750W PSU.
Heres the Picture of my Current Setup in the Living Room:
I have quite a few questions and im lacking in the bulb when it comes to home theater.
Question 1: Which t.v should i get?
Proscan 40" Proscan - 40" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV - 40LC45S
Dynex 42" Dynex® - 42" Class / 1080p / 60Hz / LCD HDTV - DX-L42-10A
Question 2: When i upgrade the Dish from Regular to H.D im guessing ill be getting a new box with HDMI Ports which i will obviously connect to the T.V, but is it possible to use HDMI just for Picture and Use RCA for Sound. your probably asking why? well i have the Logitech X-540 Speaker System. How would i get the Speakers to work with both the Cable Box and the Computer without contsantly plugging in and out stuff? I was thinking of getting this
Cable Box-Speaker System:Amazon.com: 5.1 Game Console Adapter Convert Rca Plugs To A Single 1/8: Electronics
and to go direct from speaker to P.C get some audio splitters and use 1 pair for the Console adapter and one pair PC-Speakers
Question 3: which Audio Splitter Adapter would i need to get if this would work?
Question 4: I am Changing Out My Motherboard and case
