hello,


maybe im getting ahead here because i just joined the site last night...

Each forum section only shows 15 threads, yet most say there is 10k + threads.

I have joined many different forums over the years. i know from other sites, you have to join to see the rest of the threads. Well, obviously i joined here and i cant see them.

I also noticed that when i viewed a thread, then it showed a few more threads than before in that particular section.

what gives?

Maybe it is explained in the the forum rules...although i dont feel like reading thru all that. or maybe its in a sticky, but this site has so many different sections....o rmaybe i have to wait a bit longer..but i really want to start my research

Hi Taki!

Welcome to the HTF!

On any index page...under where all the threads are listed (near the bottom) you'll see a box labeled display options. All you need to do to be able to see ALL(!) the different threads that are up & running is to change those settings to include more time. The further you go back, the more threads you'll see. Have them sort by descending order and you'll get the most recent threads at the top.

Another thing: I believe the forum defaults to about 20 thread listings per index page. You may see some pages that have 20 threads listed. Then, just under the listings you should see a box (just BEFORE the Display Options box I was telling you about) that lists how many pages of threads are visible based on your display options. Click on "2" to see page two...and so forth.
