New to home automation, but not home theaters, so I’ll try and get right to the point and make sense as best I can. If I can get help on how to do the following on a tight (free or cheap) budget, I would appreciate it:

Control multiple zones (audio) with a macbook pro
I was thinking multiple Apple TV’s would suffice
I want to be able to be in multiple rooms and change audio on the fly with MBP

Control multiple zones (audio) with an iPhone
Same concept as MPB but on an iPhone

Media Server
Cheapest way to make a media server for DVD’s, iTunes and Pictures (the Kalidascape's free brother for a mac mini server)

Remote Control
Be able to integrate iTunes, movies on server and pictures with an mx 350 remote

I know I'll have more questions, but this to get me started, will be very helpful.
