The Platinum classics and Pixar titles are a good beginning, but if Disney really wants to push the format, I would suggest they NOT make us wait seven more years for HD releases of movies currently available on SD, such as THE JUNGLE BOOK, LILO AND STICH and MARY POPPINS. Further, I submit that the HD release of live-action classics such as 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA and SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON be added to their release schedules. Finally, badly-managed SD releases such as pan and scan versions of the beautiful JOURNEY OF NATTY GANN and entertaining IN SEARCH OF THE CASTAWAYS and WHITE FANG be given 16x9 Blu-ray release. And don't forget my personal fave, NEVER CRY WOLF! Get these titles out there for those of us eager to plunk down our hard-earned dollars, Disney!
