Help. Don't mean to be long winded but need some advice. I am re-doing our den theater setup. I currently have DefTech BP20 towers, CLR1000 center and BPX Surrounds and a Deftech SuperCube1 sub. I have been running this all with a Rotel 1098 processor and 3 quality amps to provide 7 channels of power. We are re-doing the room and I want to simplify the setup, get all HDMI switching and latest surround formats. Getting rid of a huge Hitachi 57" RPTV that the BP20's were flanking and replacing w. a Kuro Plasma which will be wall mounted. I am going to replace pre pro and amps w. a Pioneer Elite SC-07 receiver rated at 140wpc. I also have, new in the box a Focal Sib&Co speaker system. Obviously not the same as the monstrous Deftech setup, but cleaner, smaller, good looking and wall mountable, etc. The focals are rated for 15-75 watts. I would be using them with the Supercube sub instead of the small cub sub that comes with them. We use the system for 98% Blu Ray, HDTV viewing. (1)Will it hurt the Focal Sibs to run them with the Pioneer Receiver? (2)Am I nuts to replace the deftech system with the smaller focal sats for LCR&Surrounds just for a cleaner look w. the plasma??? The Deftech Center channel weighs about as much as all 5 Sibs! Again, I will be using the Supercube1 to rock the place. I was also thinking of trying to get Mythos Gems instead, but already have the Focals so it would be much better on my budget to keep what i already have. Any advice???
