Hear music from subwoofer box

Some rapid spec:
Subwoofer: Pioneer TS-W257D4 (Run at 8Ohms) Car sub...
Box: 1.2cu Sealed
Amplified by a old kenwood ka-108 (Designed to amplify speakers)
I use a 120hz crossover
I know that is not a very good setup but it work fine.

Here my problem,

when i play music (like metal) i hear the sound coming from the subwoofer... not cleary but its like the bass plus some frequency from the song. Some chill music (Dance with boom boom) doesnt do that.. I replaced my crossover and i got the same problem.. What do you think?

It sounds like your crossover it too high (120 Hz) - which is why you are hearing some other sounds coming from it. The speaker will only amplify and try to produce the signal going to it - you should change the crossover to 100 or maybe 80 (depending on what your speakers can handle) - this will remove the higher frequencies from the sub...
