CENTURY CITY, Calif. – Growing in size and ferocity with each and every meal, an unstoppable mutant snake species breaks loose aboard a decommissioned submarine when SILENT VENOM slithers its way to DVD June 2 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Starring Oscarâ nominee* Tom Berenger (“Into the West”), Luke Perry (“Beverly Hills, 90210”) and Krista Allen (“What About Brian”), this action-thriller begins deep in the jungle on a remote island in the Pacific – where Dr. Andrea Swanson (Allen) has been studying a new breed of mutant snakes. When tensions rise with the Chinese military, Adm. Bradley Wallace (Berenger) quickly evacuates the island, but the only way home is on an old submarine on its final voyage to Taiwan, under the lead of Lt. Cmdr. James O’Neill (Perry). After a Chinese vessel attacks the sub, the crew begins to realize they’re not alone – someone has smuggled deadly mutant snakes on board and the hungry, vicious creatures stalk the crewmembers one-by-one. With nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, O’Neill and Swanson must become unlikely allies in order to keep the deadly snakes at bay and survive, unaware that their biggest threat yet has to make its presence known.
