I just wanted everyone to post and compare their lists of tv shows that they own that haven't been completed on dvd, in which further seasons haven't been announced, and that are getting more and more unlikely to see completion as time goes by. Here's mine:

All in the Family
American Dreams
The Big Valley
Everwood (I know--we're getting season two--but it took FIVE YEARS).

Unfinished?

Let's see...

Only have S1 of 24, but not sure if I'm going to keep going.
Need to finish Buffy and Angel, waiting for price drops on complete series for those, selling off individual seasons.
Missing some later seasons of Law and Order SVU that I'd like. We'll see on regular Law and Order.
Garfield and Friends needs some work, since I only have specials and best-ofs.
Haven't watched S1 of Happy Days yet, so we'll see if I continue.
Like to finish Punky Brewster. Almost did that over Easter, but got derailed by Time Tunnel and Powerpuff Girls.
Want to finish my Roots collection, get Queen too.
Like to get the Best Of volume of You Bet Your Life, since I already have the lost episodes.
I only have best of He-Man and She-Ra, want to get those season sets before I run out of time.

About all I can think of at the moment, sure I'm forgetting some.

Not including ongoing shows (Smallville, Simpsons, IT Crowd, In Treatment) or series where the final volume has been announced (Pushing Daisies)...

seaQuest (seriously...it's 13 more episodes...)
the rest of the Super Friends franchise
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (32 more episodes)
1990s X-Men (fairly sure the series will be finished this year)

My poor boyfriend has been waiting for more Facts of Life forever.

Huckleberry Hound -- which I expect that Warner will never complete.

Ironside -- which Shout Factory already says they will not continue.

Although this is a depressing exercise for me, I'll throw out 10 or so (out of probably several dozen) series I'd really like to see finished but have my doubts about:

LEAVE IT TO BEAVER
RAWHIDE
BIG VALLEY
OZZIE & HARRIET (no season sets released, but many "best of" type sets - just want more)
LASSIE (ibid)
MR. ED (ibid)

THE LOVE BOAT
I have all of season 1 and vol 1 of season 2.

I can't go on the way The Love Boat is going with this

Hmmmmm I guess 7th Heaven. I stopped after season 6. But a few more seasons to go if I want to finish collecting them.

Not counting shows that are still in production, here's my list:

EVERWOOD (Season 2 out June 16th)
KNOTS LANDING (Season 2 released April 14th)
THE NANNY (Season 3 released March 17th)
PARTY OF FIVE (Season 3 released March 25th, 2008)
PICKET FENCES (Season 1 released June 19th, 2007)
THE PRACTICE (Volume 1 released June 12th, 2007)

I seriously hope the list doesn't grow longer, of course, but I'm not getting rid of anything just because I can't complete it. I'll just have to make peace with the possibility that these titles will remain incomplete.

These two have been mentioned but they are the only ones I really want to see completed -- Mary Tyler Moore and Bob Newhart Show. It's looking more likely we will not see the completion of these series.
