John Wyndham - Consider Her Ways

I have been searching(with no luck) for a short story collection that I first saw in the late 1960's which contained at least three stories. One was John Wyndham's Consider Her Ways. There was also a story by William Golding and another by Mervyn Peake. The Peake story involved the character Titus of the Gormenghast series but it seems, at least in my memory, to have been set at the beginning of Titus Alone and I'm pretty sure it was not an excerpt from that novel. If anyone recalls what this collection was called please post here. Thank you.

Edit: Search engines are useful when used properly. I found the name of the collection.

Sometime, never: three tales of imagination.

Yes, Google is your friend. I was just about to post that information.

(For anyone looking to buy a copy, you can find information about Sometime, Never here.

If memory serves, the Peake "story" is actually a prologue or introductory chapter which was cut from the novel. I'm not sure if it worked as a stand-alone as written or if Peake tinkered with it a bit to make it into a short story. (I'm familiar with several other cases where chapters were simply lifted from drafts of novels and published separately without any alteration at all - and generally to the benefit of the novel. )

Regards,

Joe
