Any plans to do a cover for the SE of Casino Royale that came out around the same time QoS went into theatres?

this cover is meant for the 2-disc CE release (in terms of the extras listed), which is what you meant I assume?

Re: Zinema-style James Bond 007 Blu-ray Collection

Yes, it is. I didn't look at the special features that closely. My bad.

Re: Zinema-style James Bond 007 Blu-ray Collection

Excellent work, Matt. Will you be posting them all here when you finish each one? I've been looking for some cover art for Moonraker, Goldfinger and World is not Enough with no luck. I bought the box set thinking it was just a case for the individual discs and I am not fond of the book they come in and I want to store them in individual cases.

I just added the download links for Quantum of Solace in the first post; Casino Royale won't be too far behind. The covers can also be downloaded from r1db.com (cover site) if you have an account there. I'll keep this thread updated with links for each cover as they become available.

Re: Zinema-style James Bond 007 Blu-ray Collection

Matt, will you be doing a cover for the original release of the Casino Royale BD? I can get you a scan of that if you need the info.

ehhh, the only difference is one sound logo (PCM vs THD), a few extras, and the catalog #. Is it really going to bother you that much? Please do email me a scan (or macro pic) of the back though - matt.devillier@gmail.com

Re: Zinema-style James Bond 007 Blu-ray Collection

I picked up the covers that were done for the SD DVDs & look forward to these BD covers.

P.S. Where's the best place for BD cases, single & multi-disc?

Re: Zinema-style James Bond 007 Blu-ray Collection

Excellent work, Matt. I actually like the alternate covers best (gasp!), at least for these two.

Amazon.com. I picked up a pack of 5 single blu ray cases for around $3 plus shipping. They also have other styles of dvd cases.

Matt,

Awesome work. One question though, why is Die Another Day the only one in .jpg format while the rest are .png?

I use Lexmark semi gloss photo 8.5x11in. Works like a charm.

Re: Zinema-style James Bond 007 Blu-ray Collection

Love the Dr. No image. I don't think there has been a set of Bond release that utilized the poster images since the first round of video cassettes (and CEDs) in the mid-1980s.

Terrific work.

Thanks, but I can't take all the credit. This style/design was originally created by Charles de Lauzirika (aka Zinema) for the DVD releases several years ago. I've done the covers for the last 3 films, and am now just reworking his original covers for the Blu-ray releases.

When I first got started on custom covers I wanted to get a laser printer. Prices on those made it too much for what was to be a passing hobby. I ended up getting an HP Deskjet D4160 and it handles custom covers very well. You'd never know these were not professionally done. I use "photo smart" ink instead of "black" and Vivera inks, which are recommended for my printer.
