Sound Problems Panasonic DVD Home Theater & Panasonic DMP-BD35 & Philips 47" LCD

System Setup.

1. Philips 47" 47pfl7642d/05 LCD TV
2. Panasonic DMP-BD35 Blu-ray Disc Player
3. Panasonic SC-PT460 DVD Home Theater Sound System.
4. Sky + Box Set

I have setup in the following way.

The Panasonic Blu-ray & Panasonic DVD Home Theater is connected to the Philips LCD TV via 2 HDMI Cables. I think I have the Blu-ray in the HDMI slot 1 on the TV and the Home Theater on HDMI 2 Slot.

I have then used a scart lead to connect the Sky+ Box in EXT 1 (RGB) Scart socket on the TV.

My problem is getting everything to play through the Home Theater Sound System. The only way I have managed to do it so far is via a scart lead from EXT 2 (CVBS /S-Video) to the scart socket on the Home Theater Sound System. Problem is I am getting a little bit of hissing sound from the speakers which I am sure is almost certainly the way I have set it up.

Is there a better way of setting this all up so I don't get the hissing. Its not horrendous but its not great neither.

Any help will be greatfully recieved.

Chris

You'd probably be better off connecting your source devices directly to the HTIB for the audio, keeping existing connections to the TV for the video. Use the optical input for the Blu-ray. You'll have to switch the receiver to take input from that input rather than the SCART. Try the analog RCA input for the Sky+.
