I just got a Samsung HT-Z520 HTS. It comes with an Ipod dock so you can play your Ipod through your surround sound speakers. When you attach the Ipod, its control wheel becomes inoperable (you control the ipod with the HTS remote and see the display on your TV--cool feature).
The problem is, I can't figure out how to shuffle my songs. I have about 4000 currently on the Ipod. It would be nice to not have to listen to them in alphabetical order. Samsung Support basically told me via email, "If you can't figure it out, the feature doesn't exist."
The HTS receiver is also a 5-disc changer, but surprisingly, there is no shuffle button on the remote. I have found that there is a "shuffle" type feature in the Repeat Playback menu. It is called "Random" and will play cd tracks in random order. However, this function is not applicable when the Ipod is connected. The only options in the Repeat menu are: Track and All.
