If so, who was then vendor and what kind of quality was the transfer? I am looking to have about a thousand feet of mag stripe super 8mm converted to DVD-R, but there are so many companies online who offer services at wildly different prices per foot. Sharpeness and color fidelity are important to me, as is accuracy of whatever sound remains on the stripe (it has, I realize, been 30+ years since the movies were first shot, and magnetic sound can deteriorate over time).
