Paradigm Reference Studio vs Energy Veritas

Been trying to decide between these two for weeks now. I have owned the Paradigm Reference Studios (40v2, 20v2, CCv2) for years now and like the sound a lot. Just always had a fondness for the Energy sound, which seems more dynamic to me but also a little more polite, and now I have a chance to get some v2.2 and 2.1s (non-i but with replaced drivers) new-in-box for a good price.

Unfortunately, I can't demo them first (different state). Should I upgrade?

Opinions between the two?

Thanks!

Re: Paradigm Reference Studio vs Energy Veritas

Never mind. I got a chance to audition the Veritas v2.2. Nice speakers with a full, neutral sound and impressive bass extension. But no better than my Paradigm Reference Studio 40s and possibly slightly less airy in the highest registers. The build quality on the Paradigms is also noticeably better, with real cherry wood on the Studios compared to laminate on the Veritas.

Looks like I will be keeping these for a few more years.
