How do you set the just scan on a Samsung ln52a750 hdtv? My Samsung only gives me the options of 16:9, 4:3 or two zoom modes. 16:9 does not let me see the text on the bottom of the screen and 4:3 is too small. The wide fit and just scan modes are in grey scale and can not be chosen for some reason.

Re: just scan
1) What is your video source. (Or sources.) DVD player? Cable or satellite box? Need make and model number for all sources.2) How are the sources connected? HDMI? Component? S-video? Composite? On some TVs "just scan", "passthrough" or "automatic" setting (the same setting has different names on different sets) is only availabe on the HDMI, DVI and component inputs.
3) What are the output settings on your sources. You may have to select "pass-through" or "automatic" on your cable box, satellite receiver or DVD player. Also the output resolution may affect the available choices here.
4) Is all the video going directly to the TV or is any of it running through an AV receiver? Again, make and model needed before anyone can give you specific help if an AVR is in the loop.
Regards,
Joe
