My rear entry banana plugs are frustrating me. Any help appreciated.

Closed end banana plugs: I just received a bunch of these from monoprice and went with the rear entry kind since they provided a much more finished look over the side entry.

The problem is that I can't figure out how the wire stays in. It goes in the back, yes but when I screw it together the wire readily comes out. At least on the less attractive "side entry" it's obvious how they screw in and hold tight.

A friend warned me about these type but I chose form over function.

Any help would be appreciated as I really don't want to send these all back.

A link to the product helps. Also, I think the speaker section would be a better place for this. A mod can move it for you.

If those are the type I'm thinking of - you need to put the wire in from the back and spread it over the threads you screw the other piece on so it tightens down.

Doesn't screwing the wire down onto the threads break the little wires?

Update: If you spill them just over the top and bend them over you can get them to screw back on. I'll test them later to see if it's OK.
