I tried to "preview" my home theater. I have only my TV but to get a feel for how it looks in the room, I hooked it to an old DVD player. When I did that, the sound was not in synch with the movie. I called the TV manufacturer (Mitsubishi) and they confirmed I had connected the DVD properly. I tried a different disc and it was better but not still perfect.
Does this mean I should expect synch issues when I hook up my A/V receiver? If so, should I look for any certain features in an A/V receiver since I have not yet bought one?
