I have the HK AVR-146 in my secondary system, running a 3.0 system of low end bookshelf speakers. I never intended to step up to better speakers in this room but my wife has started to watch a lot of TV in there and has requested a little better sound.

Since I am on a $500 budget and don't want to upgrade this receiver I am wondering of anyone is driving ED 6T6 towers with this receiver? If so, let me know your thoughts.
