Glitch One:
I can't get the menu selections on my BD copy of An American in Paris. I get the menu picture (from the ballet) but no selections for the various options and extras.
I tried Gigi and that worked fine. (I am surprised that both Gigi and AAIP go directly to the movie when I put in the discs and that to get to the menu I have to press the menu button.)
Is this just a defective disc that should be returned for an exchange, or is it a software problem? I've never had a problem before with a blu-ray disc. My player is a Pioneer Elite BDP-05FD.
Glitch Two:
When I go back or fast forward on my BD disc of The Robe, two little white icons appear on the right side of the top black bar, and the only way I can get them to go away is to stop the movie. And since this is a BD disc, the resume function is disabled (that and no last memory are my two biggest gripes about Blu-Ray) and I have to go to the menu scene selection to get back to where I was.
What are these icons and anyone know how to make them go away? I've pressed every button on the remote to no effect.
