Hello. I'm in the process of remodeling my basement. In part of it I am attempting to create a home theater. The problem is that the one wall is mostly wide open, so I'm at a loss in what to do as far as the surround speaker that should be on that side. I have attached a picture so you can see (Sorry I don't know how to attach it in my message)...
My tv will sit about where the broom is. The red supports will be moved to open up the space a bit. The wall that that is coming towards you on the right side will only come out as far as the red support on the right, and the rest of it will be open to the basement. The wall on the left side (not in picture) extends all the way to the back of the room. Just behind where these red supports are will be where the couch sits, and I was planning on hanging my Polk FXI A6 surrounds there, but since there is no wall on the one side, what might I be able to do to hang the speaker? Any thoughts about what I might do? Hang it from the celing somehow? Any help would be appreciated!
