Fox will release "The Towering Inferno" in July

Fox will release the Paul Newman/Steve Mc Queen movie "The Towering Inferno" on July 14th.

Love it! I hope that will mean that other 70's disaster movies are coming to blu ray.

Like Poseiden Adventure, Earthquake and the Airport movies

Great news! The Towering Inferno is one of my favorite movies! I am suprised that The Towering Inferno appears to be getting released on Blu-Ray before Fox's The Poseidon Adventure. While The Towering Inferno is a fan favorite and actually grossed more than The Poseidon Adventure did in the 1970's, I though that The Poseidon Adventure had suprpassed The Towering Inferno in poularity and cult status with today's audiences. Maybe Fox will announce The Poseidon Adventure on Blu-Ray soon. The 2005 Special Edition Poseidon Adventure DVD is now out of print. Good news about The Towering Inferno and hopefully we will soon here good news about The Poseidon Adventure on Blu-Ray.
