Paradigm cinema 330 speakers - to use as surround speakers?

Hi

Still new to this concept of 7.1, and having a dedicated home theatre room (Will be used for movies only) I am pondering over why I cannot use the Paradigm Cinema 330 as the 4 speakers on the wall; Placed in the middle and the back of the room?

I will probably opt for the Monitor 9 as the front speakers, and a subwoofer including the center speaker; But can I use the Cinema 330 speakers for the middle and back speakers on the wall?

Thanks

I don't see why that wouldn't work just fine. My friend uses 330s for his fronts and center, and they sound great. Do you already have the Cinema 330s? If not, I'd consider an ADP speaker from the Cinema or Monitor line up for your surround centers. At least give them a listen at your A/V store.
If you can't get your surround back speakers several feet behind the seating area, I'd say 4 or 5 feet at least, you'd likely be better off with a 5.1 set-up.
