And MARY, MARY, which they confirmed will be a part of the Warner Archive collection in Sept. Let's hope they correct their mastering shortcomings by then...

With The Mating Game on Warner Archive, How Sweet It Is in the Archive promo film, Reynolds herself saying Daughter of Rosie O'Grady is coming soon to the Archives and Mary, Mary scheduled for this year also, a lot of her films will be available this year!

And don't forget her pairings with Glenn Ford, It Started With A Kiss and The Gazebo as well as The Catered Affair which contains one of her very best performances.

Do they own the rights to Goodbye Charlie or is this a Fox property? I always liked this Reynolds/Curtis movie when it used to come on TV. Would like to see it get a DVD release.

Goodbye Charlie is a Fox property.

I'd buy it, but I doubt they will. Hopefully they put some of her musicals in the next Classic Musicals set, but I think they'll release them through Archives. It would be nice to have a nice featurette on her MGM career and some commentaries.

I forgot about The Catered Affair. Great one also.

I would buy all the ones mentioned in this thread for sure.

Re: Hey Warner's, How About a Debbie Reynolds Box Set?

While I love Debbie Reynolds talent and enjoy her movies, it does seem that her earlier movies lend more the the Warner Archive Collection than a box set. Which is bad news due to the price point. I expect that A Catered Affair will get a regular DVD release though. Possibly in another Bette Davis Collection. Although I thought I read there were some rights issues connected to this film, hopefully not.

Anyway, any Debbie Reynolds film on DVD is welcomed entertainment.
