tracking a blu

This probably really doesn't be long here...but it does involve a blu ray disc. i ordered BOLT from Amazon previously. It was shipped from Campbellsville, KY on the 19th. i live in New York State, so i thought i would be receiving it soon. Still haven't received it, so i used the "tracking" button on my order and noticed that the disc was shipped to Scramento, CA. on the 23. Could someone explain why the disc would go to CA on the west coast from KY on the east coast if it was to go to NY on the east coast?...seems like a crooked path. Thanks for the insights.

Re: tracking a blu

It's happened to me in the past that I track a package only to find it was sent to a different state or city. After inquiring about this to UPS , I was told that they recycle their tracking numbers. So it might be that the tracking number hasn't been updated and is showing the previous recipients destination.
Both times this has happened it was for an Amazon, com purchase. Happened to my sister as well. Anyway, this might be one possible explanation.

If it was used, it could have been a resale item. I have seen where people have items drop shipped then repackaged and reshipped.
