IPod Nano question...

I have an Ipod Nano (I believe 2nd gen). The headseat plug is starting to go. So I borrowed my wife's Nano (The newer one). And noticed that the sound doesn't get as high when it's plugged into my car stereo with the aux jack. Did Apple put a volume cap on the newer Ipods?? Is so...that stinks. It really makes a difference on a bunch of my songs.

Re: IPod Nano question...

If the volume limiter is the problem, it can be turned off in the "settings".

Re: IPod Nano question...

I'd get a cable or car charger that provides line out from the dock connector instead of using the headphone output.

Never heard of it. I will give that a try. Thanks!

Re: IPod Nano question...

Yeah, Apple was bad about having the max volume locked to 60-75% out of the box on their earlier gen models. Just unlock the max volume control.
