Who than in their right mind would spend $20 on a barebones dvd-r with generic packaging only to possibly have the same title later appear in retail at a cost efficient msrp and properly pressed and presented?
Charging double the retail cost for burned media with zero features over Warners usual store bought product just seems like an awfully bold move and perhaps not the brightest idea... especially considering the above quote which is sure to turn people, like myself, right off this concept.
These discs are way overpriced no matter how you swing it... Also their website is horrible and takes forever to load; I gave up even browsing the selection. It would be nice to see some of the Marion Davies talkies released however. And Warners untapped theatrical animation library, especially their MGM shorts...
