I'll admit it, Andrea Ander's eyes make any developing humor or pathos an ancillary concern.

But then, I watched every episode of Joey and The Class, so joke's on me.

Re: Better Off Ted

All the scenes with the General were gold.

"Are you propositioning me?"

I haven't seen this past week's episode yet, but just caught the week before's. The show is growing on me more and more. I hope it survives.

I never watch Joey, but I did enjoy The Class.

Re: Better Off Ted

My wife and I love the show ... especially because we both can relate to the "corporate" atmosphere (we both work for big Engineering companies) and the management style that Veronica portarys is dead-on.

I've had a lot of "walk with me" conversations with upper management and that is exactly how those managers act.

And my wife loved the first 2 episodes (especially the uncontrolled screaming by the lab guy)

"Full frontal nerdity" and "Octochicken". I do like this show. This past episode had quite a few laugh out loud moments for me.

Re: Better Off Ted

Isn't this show being cancelled? Or, not picked up?

Re: Better Off Ted

After a little searching it looks like it's right on the edge of being canceled.

Re: Better Off Ted

Veridian Dynamics has responded to the fact that the show was pre-empted by President Obama, which will hurt the show's low ratings:

Re: Better Off Ted

Brilliant.

I thought it was funny that the west coast FOX affliate that broadcasts into Calgary (mountain time) didn't air the press conference, I assume because it could jeopardize the airing of American Idol results show. However, the other FOX affiliates, such as the central and east coast, which would air AI late enough (hours later) that it didn't matter, went ahead and showed it.

It was just funny to scroll through the channel list, and see the press conference on every channel, EXCEPT the one that is showing American Idol live right as the press conference was scheduled to end

I don't know about the delayed feed, but the east coast Fox affiliates broadcast "Lie to Me" instead of the press conference for the east coast affiliates.

I agree, fantastic Veridian corporate video.

Doh- my mistake - I totally meant east coast when I wrote west coat, and vice versa

Very cool. I'm glad it is coming back.

Re: Better Off Ted

Very glad this was given a second chance. They only aired 7 of 13 episodes filmed this season. I wonder if the other 6 will be added to the 13 they ordered for the fall?

Re: Better Off Ted

I finally saw the season finale yesterday. Overall it was a fun season with lots of great bits in each show. It is different from any other show currently on.

According to ABC to Air New 'Ted' Episodes in June : In Depth : TVWeek - Television Industry news, TV ratings, analysis, celebrity event photos
there are 6 summer episodes starting June 23.

I guess this answers my question about the 6 unaired episodes.

Thanks for the heads up Neil.

Woo hoo! Summer with Ted!

Re: Better Off Ted

Just a reminder that the remainder of the 6 episodes start airing tonight, and every Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. EDT on ABC for the next 6 weeks (counting this week).

I enjoyed last nights episode. There were a few good "quotables" but darned if I can't remember them now. I really like this show.

Re: Better Off Ted

It was good to see the episode. I hope that a probable summer ratings dip will not hurt it.

Crap, I forgot it was on and went to Walmart for a few groceries instead!
Though that was kind of unavoidable since everything is closed today.

Damn!

Another fun episode.  We call it the "Voice of God"

- Walter.

The secretary from The Loop returns!  And throws up!

Phil's line about going home to tell his wife that Linda is gorgeous cracked me very much up.  Veronica dumping lead into the pillow with the silencer was unexpectedly hilarious.

Solid episode that made me laugh, and that's not an easy job these days.

^^^^ That right there.  I finally watched it last night and was not expecting a lead dump into a pillow!

Loved it when Lem used the "Voice of God" machine and accidentally beamed his love interest.  Apparently it's very effective.
