For my 1st post I will give you my line up and admit I am a noob!
Here is the roster for my inexpensive home thereater. I don't make a ton of cash yet still in school.
Reciever= Onkyo SR-706 Crutchfield
Center= Infinity Video 1 (refoamed)
Fronts= Infinity RS3
Rears= Infinity Sterling ss2001
(all Infinitys picked up on craigslist for $100 with a Polk powered sub)
Surrounds= Cerwin Vega Re16 (I know They dont match the infinitys)
(but I have had them for years and the sound great)
Sub= is homemade I bought the amp and 2x sony 10" woofers off ebay The Amp is unmarked. But, very powerfull!
Picture= Infocus IN72 (craigslist too)
Screen= 84" remote operated (ebay)
Games & BluRay= PS3 80 gig and Wii
everything is wired into the receiver via hdmi except the Wii is . componets and then 1 HDMI cable to the projector.
Remotes= I have 5 I need one that does bluetooth (ps3) RF (screen) IR (everything else)
I personally think it sounds great! I know it puts a serous @ss kicking
to my old mans Lifestyle series 28. (I also know how you feel about bose on this site)
Let me know what you think. Also, I have another Infinty Video 1 center channel (also, refoamed) Was thinking
when I get my own place to use both of them. What are your thoughts on that?
