I entertain at senior centers and am too old to lug around the large speakers, player, cd's, microphone etc. I've found a small compact unit, less than 5 lbs, with player, speaker and mic and a usb plug that I can put all of my background music on a flash drive. It's almost perfect but I need more volume. I also have a pair of small koss speakers that will plug into the rear of my unit, Problem is without a separate amplifier I can't control the volume it's full blast. MY QUESTION IS... Many headphones have a simple slide volume control in the wire. Is such an item available in a larger form that I can splice into the wires leading to the koss speakers? Will greatly appreciate a solution.
