I want to invest in a home entertainment system that connects all my media resources together so that everything 'talks' as one, BUT I want my Xbox360 to be either at the hub of it all OR at least a part of the setup....
All I currently have is:
1 x Xbox 360 Elite
2 x Laptops
3 x External Hard-drives (stores all music, photos & video)
1 x Wireless router
1 x Linksys WRT54G network device (if needed??)
What components does anyone recommend purchasing to suit a budget of say £1000-£1200?
I'm considering:
1 x Sony 32" KDL-32V5500U or Sony 40" KDL-40L4000??
1 x Sony DAV-IS10 or a similar Onkyo (Home theater system)
1 x Media Centre PC (Do I need one, or can I convert my laptop or use an AV receiver??)
I would prefer to keep all components from the same "family" for easy integration but this isn't essential..
What do you recommend as the perfect system setup, focused around an Xbox 360?
Any advice is welcome to this budding home theater amateur!
Thanks
Mark
