I need a quick answer please...going to the store tomorrow.

I plan on picking up all of my 3/4 OSB flooring tomorrow. My theater is upstairs. Do I REALLY need to double layer it? I had planned to with a layer of green glue in beween, but is it overkill?

Depends what's beneath it. My theater is over the garage so I didn't worry about it. If it's over a bedroom (where someone might be sleeping) or something, then I'd go for it.

It's over the garage. Also double drywalling walls and ceiling with green glue in between. Is double flooring OSB overkill? Floor will be carpeted.
