I am having a problem with my Onkyo dvd player-702 six disc changer. Sometimes if a tv shows title is supposed to be say yellow is comes out a tarnished kinda green. Or if someone has dark blonde hair, it comes out with a tarnished green color. It is hooked up to a Sanyo(I know, I know but it really has a great picuture). At first I thought it was in the tv, but the same tvs shows on cable tv look awesome. I have the dvd hooked up through the component cables. The tv is a 480i and the dvd player is a 480p. However, I have just recently had this problem. I tried using the s-video cable but there is just too much moire that way. I have also tried changing the color settings in the dvd player. Didn't work. It is about 5 years old and has been used alot. There is a function that no longer works and that is the ability to change the aspect ratio Is it time to move on? And what about the tv? I am very happy with the picture. I have the dvd player set to the interlaced mode. I also tried new cables and that didn't seem to matter.
