I'm on the verge of buying the British edition of David Lean's favorite film, and I wonder if anyone has seen it and can comment on the quality in comparison to the Criterion edition. Summertime (1955) was one of Criterion's first DVD's, and some reviewers have remarked it can be improved.
Does the region 2 improve on the Criterion or is it the same?
