A few words about...™ Little Miss Sunshine -- in Blu-ray

Only the uninitiated need to be told that Little Miss Sunshine is a crowd-pleaser.

The new Blu-ray from Fox is a nice looking disc. Clean, colorful, with what grain there is seemingly handled well. I enjoy watching a transfer, especially on Blu, and having to stop and try to figure out precisely what I'm seeing. In this case occasional shots had what I can only express as a "Xeroxy" look in some darker areas. One that I noted during the early scene with the phone call is the look of Steve Carrell's hair.

Just interesting.

There is nothing bad. Nothing plastic. No problems. I simply couldn't totally identify what I was seeing.

LMS is a sweet film, with terrific characters that comes Recommended.
