Watch iTunes HD via DVI to HDMI connection

If I connect my Mac to my TV via a DVI to HDMI connection, can I watch iTunes-bought HDTV shows in HD? Or is there DRM that will block this?

I'm trying to find a way to watch Battlestar Galactica Season 4 in HD and NBC / Universal seems to hate that idea. So maybe buying from iTunes and connecting my MBP to my TV with a DVI->HDMI cable would work?

There is no DRM *requirement* on HDMI, i.e. if you can watch HD content through a monitor connected via DVI, it will work on your HDMI TV as well.

Hrm... Ok, I can try that with a iTunes purchase and an external monitor.
