Is season three of hart to hart ever going to get released out on dvd because I'm getting impaient

Me too. Just watched a Hart to Hart season 1 episode and wish the whole series was out already.

I would buy Season 3 as well. It has the fan-favorite episode on it where Jonathan is temporarily blinded.

Rumors are that Sony's problems with Robert Wagner and their co-ownership of "Charlie's Angels" have spread over to the release of "Hart to Hart". Robert Wagner was asked about the dvd release of Season 3 on Graham Norton last year and responded by saying it would be out soon. I think they are underestimating the fan response for this show. There were people from all over the world in the audience who are fans of the show.

I've been waiting myself.

I think this is the kind of show where there is a sizable fanbase but it's certainly not "Friends" etc so why not release an entire series set, even if it costs fans Star Trek/Sopranos prices...?

If Universal can release Quantum Leap in completion and Warner can release Full House in completion, I think Sony could definitely release Hart to Hart with only 3 seasons left. The problem with Sony (not to get into that argument again) is that no one at Sony's tv-on-dvd department really knows their product. I mentioned this in another thread but I spoke to someone on the phone at Sony who didn't even know Good Times had been released complete on dvd.

i picked up S1 and S2 from walmart for about 19.99 and i was hoping that there would be S3 coming down the pipeline. I like this show, especially how much a doll that Stephanie Powers was in the 1980s!!

Well, we know now that at least half of the movies will be released as MODs, but I'm sorry--at $24.95 a pop, I ain't gonna get 'em! Even with the discount they're more than $17. Now they just needed to put all eight into a boxed set and sell it for $50 or whatever. Instant sale. But "in this economy," as they say, forget it.

MOD does not interest me. I have instead focus my attention on shows that have been releases or in some case that are complete. If other shows have other releases down the road then that is fine for me. However, if they don't then i am ok with what i have in my collection.

It is nice and all that some of the TV Movies are seeing the light of day. But, I would be lying if i said I was not a little bit let down the other day. When I saw news for Hart to Hart in my in box, I immediately thought S3 may have been announced. Hopefully some day in the near future we will only be so lucky.
