Tonight was the first time the show was made and shown exclusively in HD and 1.78:1. I switched to my regular digital channel upconverted to 1080i and it looked squeezed in full frame.

The show looked great in 1.78:1 and show really sell the show. Maybe they'll go back and reissue all the earlier years in zoom mode to fill your 16x9 screens...only kidding!

It's about time The Simpsons joined the HD family--loved the new intro! (the episode itself was mediocre)Unfortunately it will be a very long time before S20 will be available on any home video format.

I didn't have a problem with the technical quality, just the artistic quality.

I would like to see what they could do with remastered, 4x3 1080p versions of the 20th century-era Simpsons episodes on Blu-Ray. They were done on film but post-production was on tape.
