Onkyo TXSR606 Question

I've been thinking of getting this receiver due to 4 HDMI input.
My question is. Does HDMI on this unit carries both audio and video?
Not a pass through like TXSR506B model.
OK this might sound like a stupid question but please bear with newbie here.
if I connect my PS3, HD-DVR, WD media player to the HDMI ports I don't need to connect the audio toslink cable to this receiver?
That's how I wanted it done, so sick of too many cables.
if it can't be done this way on this unit. Any recommendation would greatly be appreciated.

Yes, the HDMI on this receiver carries both audio and video. It decodes all the HD audio formats, so you don't have to be so picky about which BD player to buy. Even the PS3 will work fine with this receiver.

No, you won't need to connect the Toslink cable.........
