Klipsch KLF20 distortion during Eagle Eye ??

I finally got a BR player (SONY BDP-S550) this past week. I hooked it up using the 5.1 ch. analog outputs into my Yamaha DSP-A1. I did go through the speaker setup settings and went through the initial audio settings.
Last night I finally got around to watching my BR title which was EAGLE EYE.
During some of the actions scenes, I noticed some distortion / rattling coming from my front mains. I know I didn't have my volume set to reference, so I'm wondering what it could be? Should I turn down the level setting on the mains ? I know the advanced audio soundtracks are more dynamic and louder , but if my speakers are balanced right, why would I be getting rattling/distortion from the mains ??

Any helpful advice appreciated,
TroyH

I dialed down my level in the mains by 5 db or so, and switched my subs xover from out to in and man what a difference! I replayed a few of the chase scenes from Eagle Eye and man my sub came alive and there was no distortion even playing it louder than I did last night.
I'm lovin it!
