Paramount really missed the boat on this one. 2008 would have been the 15th anniversary of it's theatrical release. Why has this financially successful film been ignored for a full-fledged special edition? I mean we're talking about the highest grossing film based off of a Grisham novel and it even scored 2 oscar noms.
Anyone know if Sydney Pollack recorded any type of commentary for the film before his death? Laserdisc perhaps? I know he's done some commentaries in the past. Also, there has to be some behind the scenes stuff they could put together for featurettes.
The barebones 2000 release only included a trailer but had a decent video transfer. I really think it would look good on Blu-ray with a TrueHD track but I guess that's asking too much.
