I don't really have a problem with it, but that gratuitous nudity does take me out of the film to some degree, like the waterskiing scene and the baby oil scene, I'm thinking "who does this"? And you can throw all of that at the screen that you want but it doesn't necessaily make for an interesting movie. Which I think was a real problem. Also when half the women in your film are exhibitionists and most of your male characters are douchebags/idiots it detracts from you caring about their fates. You can argue that the original films had these problems as well, and as I have previously posted that although it seems weird to think this way, many of the characters from those films were much better than what we got here. And the gratuitous stuff confuses me as to whether the film is supposed to be self parody or something legitmate.
To tell the truth, I think if F13 (the original) was made today, it would have probably have been just a blip. The movie happened to come along at just the right time, off the heels of the very successful "Halloween" (because it was a legitamately good film and a legitamatey scary film) But by now the genre is so ingrained that these films are still successful.

I would argue against that in many cases. Like I said, in the original films nudity was often very brief as was the gore (albiet rating concerns often were a factor there.) I don't mind if something is gratuitous, but when it gets in the way of making an interesting film (like I believe was the case here) then it can be problematic
