DBox - anyone have one?

Hello,

I wasn't sure where to post this question so admins, please move to appropriate locale if necessary.

I was wonderjing if anyone has the D-Box system in their theater. How do you like it? Worth the money and effort? Is the motion truly a method to make the movie more immersive or is it more disruptive? It seems I'm seeing these more and more on titles and though I've googled it to see what it is all about, I wanted to get feedback from my fellow forum neighbors. Please tell me (and us) your thoughts regarding this product. Thanks in advance.

I dont own one but I have demoed them at CEDIA shows. The best way to describe it is that its like an amusement park ride. I think it would get old very quickly.

My thinking as well... I'm seeing it being supported more and more on titles so I was wondering if it really enhances the experience.

One of the things that always concerned me is, I have nice furniture. Hooking up something that vibrates intensely to a chair or sofa leg( that isn't designed for it) would surely case premature wear if not ruin the furniture.
