Must not be much interest in it. I saw it yesterday, either this or Taken with Liam Neeson.
I rather enjoyed it for what it was. Part of the interest was that it was filmed or appeared to be made in Hong Kong. I liked the use of the city as location and well as the Chinese actors. It gave it a freshness. Production values were great.
As to the story, based on the trailer, it felt like a big screen version of NBC's Heroes. Perhaps if it was an anime version! Each person had a specific power. And there was a government faction trying to capture and control these unique people. Plus there was an original generation of these people and the film focuses on the second generation.
Dakota Fanning was good as was Djimon Hounsou. And nice to see Ming Na get some more theatrical exposure. The rest of the cast I didn't know, except the magician guy I recognized from some other films. But that was the part I liked, I didn't know these actors.
Obviously the film makers are hoping to create a franchise here. Overall, it was a good somewhat mindless action movie experience.
edit- I see that the reviews have not been positive and some at IMDB say it has some similarities to another film called Jumpers. I didn't see that film, or too many of these types of films. So I have no reference. As I said, I thought it was a good mindless action romp when you're in that mood!

Push is an intriguing but unexceptional scifi thriller in dire need of a final act. Functionally, the movie plays like Minority Report crossbred with "Heroes" in the back alleys of Hong Kong. What sets it apart is a unique visual palette and editing choices that favor small character beats over blistering action sequences.
